// HCi CANCER SUPPORT PROGRAM

Our program is tailored to your needs and available at no additional cost to eligible HCi members.

It starts with a phone call to welcome you. You can then download the app and take advantage of the resources and weekly online calls.

The support program starts whenever it suits you. However, key triggers may be starting intensive treatment, finishing intensive treatment or in survivorship (ie post treatment but still carrying a symptom burden).

You will work with an expert cancer nurse who will create a personal plan of care, offer education, support and guidance. In addition, we would provide you with consultations with an exercise physiologist, dietitian, and psychologist. The program usually runs over 12-16 weeks.

Our cancer support program includes 6 major components:

Individual care plan

Exercise physiology sessions

Assessment & support

Oncology dietitian

Education & remote monitoring

Psych-oncology sessions

Evidence shows that such programs can improve your quality of life. So, what does this mean? It can vary, but generally can lead to improved energy levels, increased strength and endurance, improved sleep, improved mood and reduced cognitive fatigue.
