Health Care Insurance exercises great care to protect the personal information that is held. This protection includes:

• Document access controlled and limited to only those that require it to administer your policy.
• Internal electronic security access systems.
• Secure disposal of waste.
What information is disclosed?
Health Care Insurance will only disclose your information to third parties in the following circumstances:
• To administer your insurance policy, this includes to:
- Practitioners and professionals who are directly dealing with health services for you,
- Hospitals in relation to eligibility checking.
• To a third party who performs core business activities on our behalf and with whom we have a confidentiality agreement.
• If required by law.
• We do not disclose your financial details to any third party.

Yes, you need to request it in writing.

What to do if you have a complaint?
Health care Insurance will do every thing possible to ensure that your privacy is not breached. However, if you have a complaint regarding a possible breach of privacy by Health Care Insurance this should be directed to the Privacy Officer at the following address:
