Health Care Insurance offers a search facility to enable its members to determine which hospitals and Access Gap doctors are contracted with the fund. Being able to choose the hospital and doctor may help to keep any out-of-pocket expenses to a minimum.
Another search facility HCI provides allows our members to find our ancillary providers who can process their claims electronically (HICAPS). HICAPS allows you to claim your extras benefit right there, on the spot, after the consultation with your health service provider (dentists, optometrists, chiropractors, physiotherapists, osteopaths, occupational therapists, psychologists and podiatrists).
